EPP Hosts Informative Morning Goods Master Class with Koenig

European Process Plant Ltd (EPP) recently hosted a highly successful and informative Morning Goods Master Class in collaboration with Koenig. The event united baking industry professionals for a serious exploration of the science of dough dividing and forming. At Koenig’s Demo Centre in Graz, Austria, participants were provided with insightful training sessions, blending theory with practical hands-on workshops and live demonstrations.

Graham Storey, Continuous Improvement Manager at Sheldon’s appreciated the valuable insights, opportunities to interact with other participants and commented “The EPP and Koenig reps really looked after everyone throughout the trip. The information was presented very well, and the quality of the equipment is perfect; I am a huge fan of Koenig!”

When asked ‘What did you find most valuable during the masterclass?’, event participants answered with ‘the in-depth review of each machine and technical expertise held’, ‘the comfortable pace of the class and machine demonstrations’, ‘plenty of opportunities to learn new baking techniques from the knowledgeable master bakers’, and ‘every aspect was incredibly valuable’.

EPP representatives were commended for their support and hospitality during the trip, contributing to a seamless and rewarding Master Class for all attendees. The success of the event is reflected by the insightful practical demonstrations and workshops showcasing the versatility and precision of the Koenig machinery. Participants also appreciated the ability to have open discussions which enabled a deeper understanding of machine capabilities.

One other participant, Andrei Acatalinei, Process Development Technologist at Geary’s Bakeries Ltd voiced his praises for the Master Class event, stating “Every single person from EPP and Koenig had adapted the Master Class to meet everyone’s needs, they went above and beyond to meet them. Everyone was really knowledgeable, transparent and helpful. Very welcoming.” Andrei continued by also expressing his gratitude to the Master Bakers for imparting some of their knowledge and expertise. Andrei admired listening to the machinery designers, explaining ‘it was interesting to see how they are continuously chasing improvement for safety, efficiency and customer’s needs.”
