European Process Plant Ltd (EPP) has returned from Interpack 2026 following a productive week at one of the world’s largest processing and packaging exhibitions. Drawing visitors and exhibitors from across the globe, this year’s event reflected the pace of innovation shaping modern food production, with 18 halls filled with advanced systems, live demonstrations and high levels of visitor engagement.
A strong network of EPP’s partner manufacturers was represented across the show floor, with leading names including Minipan, SENIUS, the newly formed Coperion Food, Health & Nutrition group (incorporating VMI, ShickEsteve and a number of other leading process technology brands), Dojatec and MECATHERM as well as the slicing and packaging specialist Gasparin PFM.
Their presence highlighted the depth and breadth of technology available to UK and Ireland bakeries through EPP, from ingredient handling and mixing through to forming, baking and end-of-line packaging.
Interactive demonstrations and lots of products to taste played a central role throughout the exhibition, bringing equipment performance and production capabilities to life. Live runs allowed visitors to see systems in operation, ask technical questions and explore how machinery can be tailored to specific applications. These hands-on experiences reinforced the practical value of investing in modern processing solutions and provided a clear view of how manufacturers are addressing efficiency and consistency on the production line.
Interpack 2026 opened up a range of valuable conversations for EPP. Engagement with partners helped strengthen relationships and offered insight into upcoming developments, while discussions with customers helped explore challenges and highlight opportunities for future projects.
Steve Merritt, Managing Director at EPP, said: “Interpack continues to be an important meeting point for the global processing and packaging sector. The scale of the event this year underlined the level of innovation happening across our industry. It was great to see our manufacturing partners presenting such a strong line-up of technology, and the live demonstrations really helped bring those capabilities to life. We had a number of positive conversations with both suppliers and customers, which will support ongoing and future collaborations.”
EPP’s attendance at Interpack 2026 reflects its continued commitment to staying closely connected with its manufacturing partners and the wider market. Insights gained during the event will help inform the solutions and support it provides to bakeries and food producers looking to invest in reliable, high-performance processing systems.
